When we stop and look honestly at our souls, Scripture says we are dead in sin, condemned, and unable to save ourselves (Eph. 2:1–3). That’s not just hard news, it’s hopeless. But God, in His grace, did not leave us there.

The God Who Is Rich in Mercy

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us…” (Eph. 2:4). God showed mercy by sending His Son to take our place. On the cross, Jesus bore our guilt and took the punishment we deserved. When He rose from the grave, He secured our justification, our legal standing as forgiven and made right before God. This is not because of our works, but because of His mercy alone.

Grace, Not What We Deserve

If we got what we earned, it would be eternal judgment. But before the world began, God chose His children and set His love on them. Even the faith to repent and believe is a gift of grace (Eph. 2:8–9). That means no one can boast in themselves. Our only boast is Christ crucified.

Christ the Cornerstone

Our hope is not in… being “good people,” religious rituals, or looking pious on the outside. Jesus often warned those who appeared holy and trusted in their own works. The only solid foundation is Christ Himself, the Chief Cornerstone. We build on Him, stand on His Word, and live for God’s glory alone.

Why We’re Planting a Church

Here on the east side of Cincinnati, and around the world, people are searching for truth. Many settle for messages that make them feel good but cannot save. That’s why we’re planting a church, not to entertain or water down the gospel, but to call people to repentance, faith, discipleship, and endurance in Christ.

We want to see men and women justified by faith, living holy lives, leading their families in the Word, and standing firm in Christ until the end.

An Invitation

By God’s grace, we are planting this church, and you are invited to join us. Come to our next Interest Event this Sunday, October 26, from 6–7 PM at RJ Cinema in Eastgate. Free food, sweet treats, games for the kids, and a chance to hear the vision of a church built on the truth that saves.
