In John 7, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink... out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” I preached this text at Woodside Church in May 2025 to a church wrestling with spiritual dryness and a lack of evangelistic urgency.
We unpacked the truth that true belief in Christ always results in overflow. The Spirit is not given just to satisfy us—but to spill out of us. I warned against stagnant faith and called the church to repentance, revival, and Spirit-empowered witness.
This wasn't a call to hype or emotionalism—but a return to the living fountain of Christ, where dry souls are filled and faithful boldness is born. Where the Spirit dwells, the gospel flows.
