At Cornerstone Church, we believe discipleship is more than learning facts—it’s learning to follow Jesus with your whole life.

Discipleship is not optional for anyone who follows Christ.
Jesus’ final command before ascending to heaven was clear:

“Go and make disciples of all nations...” —Matthew 28:19
It wasn’t a suggestion—it was a mission for every believer and every church.

That’s why we’re not waiting until launch to start. We’ve already launched a Men’s Bible Study, led by Pastor Jacob, gathering men from our launch team and others around our city who are hungry for God’s Word. And in the coming year—before we launch Sunday services—we will begin a weekly Family Discipleship Group to help entire households grow together in Christ.

Our vision is to multiply 3–4 more groups before launch—some gender-specific, others based on area or season of life. Whether in homes, coffee shops, or classrooms, these groups will be the engine of spiritual growth and real community at Cornerstone.

What to Expect in a Cornerstone Group:

  • Open Bibles and open hearts

  • Gospel conversations rooted in truth and grace

  • Honest questions and patient answers

  • Prayer, encouragement, and accountability

  • Brothers and sisters who walk with you—not judge you—when life gets hard

We know that solitude can be a gift from God. Jesus Himself withdrew to pray—and there are seasons when stepping back to seek the Lord is wise and necessary. But isolation is different. When solitude lasts too long without community, it often gives way to discouragement, deception, and depression. That’s why Christ calls us into a Body—not just belief, but belonging.

Jesus didn’t disciple the crowds—He walked closely with a few. He shared meals, asked questions, spoke truth, and shaped His followers through deep, personal relationships. We aim to follow that same model.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom...” —Colossians 3:16
“And he appointed twelve... so that they might be with him...” —Mark 3:14

Discipleship Groups aren’t just a church activity—they are our strategy for spiritual formation.
If you're serious about following Jesus, you can't walk alone.

We grow best when we grow together.
