Laying the Foundation: The Early Work of Planting Cornerstone Church

Church planting isn’t about speed, strategy, or spotlight—it’s about faithfulness.
Right now, Cornerstone Church is in the early stages of formation, and we are laying a biblical and structural foundation for what we pray will become a healthy, gospel-centered church on the Eastside of Cincinnati.

This is a quiet but critical season. We’ve filed for 501(c)(3) status, set up financial systems, and are working to secure a Sunday morning location. We’re also walking through the North American Mission Board’s assessment process to ensure accountability and long-term health.

This fall, we’re hosting casual meetups around the Eastgate area to connect with people, share the vision, and invite others into what God is building. These are great opportunities to meet Pastor Jacob, hear the heart behind the church, and get to know others who are joining the mission.

We’re planning to soft launch in Spring 2026 with weekly gatherings, and a full public Sunday morning launch later that year.
